Short Dialogue Scene

The Dialogue Scene (brief 3) is comprised of two parts:

Part 1: Choose a short dialogue scene involving two characters from a favorite film that has:

• 8 to 12 lines of dialogue max

• internal and external reverses

and apply the pre-production process from brief 1: scene premise, treatment, synopsis, protagonists biography, script and storyboard.

Use Celtx to develop your pre-production documentation.

Present in class on Tuesday May 17.

Shoot the scene on May 17-18.

Edit on May 18 and submit May 24.

Part 2: Write a dialogue scene for two characters that is based upon a scenario from a news story.

Obstruction: Using What If?… apply the scene to  a location on the Mornington Peninsula
